MAY 2010 - River Vineyard has new owners Bob and Julie Neville. The vineyard is continuing to produce great wine however the restaurant is now closed for the winter and will reopen soon. Bob & Julie look forward to seeing you in the near future.

At Tongariro Estate Vineyard we work hard to produce exceptional wines that reflect our unique pristine environment.

We grow classic Pinot grapes in a region known more for its world class angling than wine production. Our vineyard is right on the banks of this world famous river hence our brand and labels reflect the fishery and our environment.

The Tongariro region is causing a stir amongst wine buffs as they discover the exceptional Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris wines that are being produced in the cool climate sheltering under the active volcanoes of the central north island of New Zealand.
